Newly opened Square Restaurant & Lounge Bar, is a luxurious Restaurant & Bar in the heart of Brighton & Hove- over looking Palmira Square. The deep red decor walls and subtle LED coloured lighting provide the backdrop to leather sofas and a comfortable cozy bar.  Square Restaurant is aiming to create a fun and vibrant atmosphere for the middle aged to older generation to have a comfortable immaculate meal and enjoy a drink too. The music provided is a mixture of lounge & Latin, Arabian, Buda, English, and Italian.
The married couple owners, Essam Shawki & Deema Barakat started this venture together, and there aim is to create a relaxed food hang out with an environment as hearty as the food served. Essam has been in the catering business for 15 years, and has pioneered many authentic and exciting Italian restaurants; Deema’s background experience in business, marketing and public relations gives her the advantage of dealing with customers, as well as handling the event side of the business, and all the promotions that gives Square its desirable atmosphere. Making them the perfect business team.

Restaurant | The Bar

Square Restaurants bar is a lively vibrant meeting place serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and memorable cocktails. The bar changes its mood as the day progresses, beginning quietly in the morning with coffee and pastries, and a verity of breakfasts, becoming lively with pre-lunch drinks, relaxing with afternoon homemade sweets , finger sandwiches and herbal teas, leading on to a buzzing early evening into the night. With a range of cocktails, liquors, wines and rare whisky’s.

There’s a private room. It gives a slightly different vibe intimate and cozy, soft art deco style with black leather Sofas. Ideal on a date, or just a private group, suitable for business talks, whatever your mood is square bar will accommodate your needs.

Restaurant | The Restaurant

The Square Restaurant dining experience is an electric mix, of fusion food, created by talented chefs. Each dish is prepared fresh once ordered. With a Seasonally changing menu covering food formal over the world, the primary function of the site is fine Al Cart dining on the first floor restaurant, with a private bar for those who like a less crowded atmosphere.
At Square Restaurant our philosophy is simple: to create, uncomplicated fully flavored food made from the freshest highest quality seasonal produce. Our menus strike a balance between crowded pleasure …and slightly more challenging dishes.
Our global wine list has been carefully selected to compliment the flavors of our dishes. All Served by attentive staff in stylish and welcoming surroundings.

Ruling the kitchen is topnotch chefs Davide Lucido, at the top of their game, cooking up the secret recipes that made them what they are after having worked at Claridges of London & The Dorchester Hotel. Effort is put in to each dish made freshly as ordered. Allowing you to taste the succulent freshness of each ingredient.
Presentation is seamless, the setting is perfect, and the food is divine. The place hits the mark and it deserves its reputation. You can enjoy the crème de la crème of food and service.
